TELEPHONE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

With a Cobus maintenance agreement, you can be assured that your business is fully protected and supported. Cover can be arranged to provide up to 24-hours a day, 365-days a year response with critical faults within 4 hours.

It needs to be considered that replacing your telecoms, without an appropriate agreement in place, would cost you thousands of pounds and leave you for days without a communications system. Our maintenance agreement options represent extremely good value for money and ensure peace of mind for you and your business, should the worst happen.

MAINTENANCE STOCK

Cobus have always invested heavily to ensure that we carry maintenance stock of all vital components in our secure warehouse, to ensure that system faults are resolved as quickly as possible. Our experienced engineers also carry a variety of common components in order to resolve any problems on the first visit, whenever possible.

COBUS CARE

Cobus Care was introduced by Cobus due to the increase of Primary Network Engineers (i.e. KCOM/BT/Other) attending sites where a customer would report a line fault. On many occasions, the fault is confirmed or advised by the Primary Network as not being a line fault and their minimum call out fees from £185.00 + VAT will be charged. 

Cobus Care offers the peace of mind that all faults with your telephone line(s) will be diagnosed & confirmed by Cobus rather than the fault being passed directly to the Primary Network.

Cobus Care ensures that expensive call-outs from the Primary Network Provider are not billed on to our customers. This service was introduced in March 2014 and has saved our customers thousands of pounds in unnecessary call out charges by the Primary Network Operators.

ENHANCED ADSL

For the below additional key benefits you can upgrade your ADSL Broadband to include:-

  • Unlimited enhanced telephone support and diagnostics
  • Inclusive engineering visit to investigate, help diagnose and resolve where possible ADSL service issues
  • Replacement router* should the equipment be at fault

*Replacement router would be a Thomson TG582N or an equivalent chosen by Cobus

ENHANCED FIBRE

For the below additional key benefits you can upgrade your Fibre Broadband (Cobus Fibrestream or Other) to include:-

  • Unlimited enhanced telephone support and diagnostics
  • Inclusive engineering visit to investigate, help diagnose and resolve where possible Fibre service issues
  • Replacement router* should the equipment be at fault

*Replacement router would be a Technicolor TG589VAC V2 or an equivalent chosen by Cobus

COBUS PREMIUM LINE

Toll fraud is when a hacker is able to access your telephone system and make fraudulent, expensive long-distance and/or premium rate calls, with you, the business owner only being made aware of the situation once your ‘increased’ bill arrives…

Unfortunately Toll Fraud is still on the increase globally with an estimated yearly cost of £25.5 billion and it is happening to businesses in our region! We work closely with our customers to alert them to the potential risks to their business and help protect them from possible future attacks.

Our fraud protection options include hardware security, in the form of an intelligent monitoring system and additional reassurance provided with our Cobus fraud insurance cover – Premium Line. This protects customers up to £ 250 per number, per month, which gives an additional level of cover and peace of mind.
