Due to the expansion of our sales team, we are looking for someone to join our vibrant team. If you have experience within B2B sales, or simply believe you have the skills to succeed in a sales role, we are looking for hardworking, conscientious individual to join our team here at Cobus Communications.

This role as a Field Sales Executive person is all about relationships; whether that be internal, working closely with all departments, building up relationships with our current customers or seeking out new opportunities, you’ll be a quick learner and be able to communicate confidently and concisely.



  • Looking after the day-2-day accounting needs of the business by utilising the operational platforms in use i.e., CRM system, Accounts package.
  • Manage financial reporting & forecasting to aid decision making and monitor progress.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets and work with other members of the senior management team to ensure profit optimisation & risk mitigation.
  • Providing appropriate analysis and recommendations to influence key decisions.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with customers both via telephone calls and face-to-face. We let you nurture your prospects through the sales funnel. We don’t use a dialler!
  • To source and contact potential new customers and secure new business to increase the current client base
  • To establish client needs and provide them with the right business solution
  • To grow revenue from existing customer base through up and cross selling other products and services in our portfolio to develop long term business relationships.
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams from existing and lapsed accounts.
  • To ensure that the CRM system is continually and accurately updated with marketing data and account activity
  • To ensure that KPIs and targets are continually met
  • Dealing with any objections or queries the customers may have
  • Reviewing your sales pipeline on an ongoing basis to ensure sales conversions are maximised
  • Attending and contributing to daily team huddles and weekly training



  • A level of understanding regarding business matters and commercial viability.
  • Experience in finance and accountancy practices.
  • AAT qualified (Minimum L3 or be working towards completion).
  • Sage Line 50 experience.
  • Excellent questioning, qualification and closing skills
  • The confidence and tenacity to pursue leads, overcome obstacles and secure deals
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Determination and excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work under pressure to achieve challenging goals
